The UK Roller Derby Association (UKRDA) has 30 registered members teams from Aberdeen to Windsor and everywhere inbetween.
If you're interested in joining a club then don't hesitate to contact them, it could turn out to be the best decision you have ever made. All the teams listed on the UKRDA have websites which contain all training dates, venues and costs.
Hot Wheel captain Fanny Batter has been playing for Hot Wheel for three years now and she has this advice for anyone wanting to get involved.
She said: " We have a dedicated, qualified skate coach to teach you what you need to learn and a team of Hotties to help you along the way. Most of the skaters at Hot Wheel couldn't skate before they joined but look at them now. We loan out equipment so you do not need to worry about buying equpiment straight away. There is no reason why you shouldn't give it a go! Alll we ask you to bring is a bottle of water, trainers and lots of enthusiasm. We train hard three times a week, so come and have a go, you will love it just as much as we do."
